Independent Bartender

EVENT SERVICE AGREEMENT

This Agreement for Event Services is entered on [today's date] _____________________, between_______________________________ (hereinafter referred to as "The Customer") and Crystal Quintana, the Owner and Operator of Independent Bartender Fresno (IB) (hereinafter referred to as "The Servicer")

RULES & CONDITIONS: 

CHANGES TO THE CONTRACT

  • After requesting any changes to the contract, it is important that you get a copy of the latest updated invoice as a verification of changes. When changes are made, the latest updated invoice will serve as an update for the Hours of Drink Service, Package Upgrades, Added Provisions, Drink Menu & Account Balance.

CHANGES TO HOURS OF DRINK SERVICE

  •  On the date of the event, the Start Time may not be re-negotiated to an earlier time. The Customer must notify the servicer at least 7 days before the date of the event to change the Start Time of services. The Customer may request additional Hours of Drink Service to extend the End Time of the event (this request can be denied as it is optional to the servicer and must be made at least 30 minutes before the designated End Time for consideration). Additional hours that are granted by the servicer are calculated at the same hourly rate as agreed above in this contract.

PACKAGE UPGRADES

  • In regards to availability & scheduling, and to giving proper notice to Bartenders & Banquet Servers. An Upgrade to a Package requesting the Servicer to provide 2-3 more service members must be submitted at least 2 weeks before the date of the event. A package upgrade that requests the servicer to provide 4-6 more service members must be submitted at least 3 weeks before the date of the event. And Package upgrades requesting the servicer to provide 7 or more service members must be submitted as soon as possible!! Improper notice may result in a settlement for a smaller price package.

ADDED PROVISIONS

  • Final Added Provisions must be submitted at least 2 weeks before the date of the event.

DRINK MENU CHANGES

  • Changes to a drink menu can be made, even after a deposit is paid and contract is signed. Drink menus can be altered multiple times or as needed, but Final Drink Menu Changes must be submitted at least 2 weeks before the date of the event.

Account Balance

  • Changes made to the contract in regards to event details such as; Hours of Drink Service, Package Upgrades & Added Provisions; will directly change and affect the Balance of the Account. If a reason should arise, preventing the servicer from providing the above agreed upon, the customer will be notified as soon as possible and proper account deductions will be made.

SERVICES

Alcohol will be served in accordance with California State Liquor laws and regulations determined by ABC (Alcoholic Beverage Control) rules and regulations. The Servicer will not serve alcohol to minors (anyone under the legal age of 21 years). The Servicer will require proof of age (I.D.) for all guests of a questionable age partaking in alcoholic beverages. The Servicer will not be held liable for minors who consume alcohol, that is given/handed off by another adult at the event. The Servicer is allowed to serve no more than two alcoholic beverages at a time to one person (per visit to the bar) as stated by ABC rules and regulations. Please inform your guests of this and please do not ask to be an exception to this rule. The Servicer reserves the right to refuse service to anyone.


The Servicer will provide Consultation(s) for a Drink Menu, resulting in an Outline Drink Menu with a corresponding Inventory/Shopping List specific for your event. The Inventory/Shopping list is based on; desired drink menu, amount of guests to be served & number of hours of drink service.

The Servicer will arrive up to one hour early to setup and stay late to clean up at no extra charge. This ensures that you will get your designated time of actual drink service. The servicer will provide professional certified bartenders. Service fees do not include gratuities for the bartender(s) or Banquet Servers. Gratuities are at The Customer's discretion, and are always appreciated for good service.

Bartenders provided by the servicer are Certified Mixologists. All Bartenders, Banquet and Cocktail Servers provided by the servicer are professional and hold valid (up to date) California ServSafe food and drink handlers Certifications.

WAIVER

I, ________________________________________, the undersigned, have read and understand the above Agreement for Event Services including the Rules and Conditions of Changes to this Agreement and agree to accept full liability for any damages.

Who Provides What?

The servicer does not provide alcohol

THE SERVICER WILL PROVIDE THE FOLLOWING:

  • Blender (includes two commercial grade blenders)  

  • 1x - Ice Chest for Sanitary Ice that will go into the drinks

  • Bottle Spouts / Pourers

  • Bar Tools (Shaker / Spoon / Knife / Cutting Board / Muddler etc.)

  • 200 Disposable Shot Glasses per every 100 guests

  • Sip & Stir Straws

  • White Hand Towels / Paper Towels

THE CUSTOMER WILL PROVIDE THE FOLLOWING:


  • Ice (unless added provision fee is applied)

  • Alcohol

  • Water

  • Sodas

  • Juices / Juice type mixers

  • Seasonings (Salt, Tajin, Worcestershire, etc.)

  • Garnishes (unless added provision fee is applied)

  • Cups | Plastic Ware | Glassware (unless added provision fee is applied)

  • Ice Bins / Ice Chests to store unused sanitary Ice

  • Ice Bins / Ice Chests to keep Beer, Water, Sodas, etc.

  • Accessable Power Outlet (only when blended drinks are on the menu)

  • Accessable trash can for bar area
